Frequently asked questions
Am I able to book you outside of your normal business hours?
My regular hours for booking are 8:00AM- 3:00PM Tuesday-Saturday. However, I understand that occasions may arise that call for appointments outside of that window. I am more than happy to provide services. See "Early Bird" Booking
Are you able to accommodate large groups or bridal parties?
I am able to accommodate large groups. If time permits, I can complete a group of 6 alone. For groups over 6 or with timelines that don't permit enough time for an application, I can bring along another professional makeup artist to ensure that everyone looks amazing and are completed on time!
How long will my makeup last?
The makeup application process includes skin prep, application, and setting/finishing products to give you the most out of your wear and to stand the test of weather conditions. I have even heard of clients who have slept in their makeup to wear it the following day-- although, I absolutely DO NOT recommend doing that!
Which makeup brands do you use?
I use a variety of brands of products. I like what I like and my selection is based on effectiveness and quality to ensure that it lasts. For the most part, I choose to make it a priority to select products that are cruelty-free, but that is not always the case. If there are specific products/ingredients that you'd prefer I not use, please be sure to let me know!
Do you require a deposit for weddings?
A half-retainer and signed contract is required to secure your wedding date. Until that is received your date is available to be booked by other brides.
Am I able to do a trial prior to my wedding date?
Yes. I highly recommend doing a trial. A full trial is a part of my consultation process. This allows us to both rest assured that we love the look and the process prior to the day of the wedding.
Do you offer partial services like "eyes only", "face only", or "lashes only"?
No. I do not offer any partial services. For the sake of the integrity of my work, it embodies the entire process from start-to-finish. I also do not provide touch-up services for another artist's work.
How far in advance should I book you?
Currently my calendar allows Bridal bookings as far as 18-months out. For any other type of booking, the website allows bookings 60 days in advance.
Can I move my retainer to another date?
The retainer serves as a non-refundable, non-transferable mutual agreement between both parties that services will be rendered for the selected date/time. As an artist, I designate this time for you and decline other bookings with the expectation that you will come at that date and time.

Situations may arise where flexibility is needed. If another time is needed and available for the same day of original services the appointment time can be moved.

If I have to move/reschedule you due to a time restraint or conflict-- the retainer will be refunded.
